HOW WILL I BE CHARGED FOR DATA USAGE, CALLS & SMS?

The cost of each call, SMS or data session will vary depending on the plan you’re using, however the way usage is measured is the same across the board. You’ll be billed per minute for calls, per standard text message (160 characters) for SMS and to measure your data usage, we use kilobyte (KB) rounding.

With amaysim, you’ll be billed per minute for calls, which means there's a full charge when each minute begins - for example, if you make a call for two minutes and 40 seconds, you would be charged for three minutes. Check out this page to learn more about international call rates.

You’ll be billed per standard text message which is 160 characters. The cost per SMS sent will vary depending on the mobile plan you’re using.

To measure your data usage,we use kilobyte (KB) rounding - this means we'll round up the amount of data you’ve used in a session to the nearest 1KB. Find out about what applications on your phone are using the most data.

Where can I find my payment/billing history?
  • If you’re Prepaid, head to the Payments section of My amaysim to access your payment invoices.
  • If you’re Postpaid (receive a monthly bill), head to Bills in My amaysim to access your previous bills

My amaysim is easy to use and a hassle-free way to manage your data usage. Balance details will be displayed on the Plan screen once you've logged in, while recent data usage can be viewed through the Usage menu option.

Once there you’ll be able to select the time period you want to view and check the amount of data that was used within the period you’ve searched.
