amaysim is an award-winning telecommunications company with 1.7M customers. They are powered by the same Optus network that Circles Life customers are used to.
The change of supplier period will take place over the next 30 days, at which point Circles Life customers will receive an announcement from amaysim, that the change of supplier has been completed. The first step is that customers mobile service supplier changes (and nothing else will change), the second step is that Circles Life customers will be offered and, if choose to, will be migrated to an amaysim plan.
Absolutely nothing. Right now, there is no change to any mobile numbers, SIM or mobile data. Only the mobile service supplier is changing for now. Customer's plans will not change immediately, and they will remain on a Circles Life plan. In the coming months you will receive a communication directly from amaysim with an overview of the amaysim plan that best matches your current plan. It will also include information about the timings of when the plan migrations will take place.
You heard right! Yes, amaysim has purchased the Circles Life Mobile customer base. There won’t be any disruptions to your service as a result of this. amaysim is also on the Optus network, so you can keep using your mobile service as usual.
Your current Circles Life plan, payment schedule and customer service contact details remain the same up until your plan switch over date, when you'll transition onto your new amaysim plan.
That’s cool, but we encourage you to make this decision after you receive your plan offering.
If you don’t want to transfer, you’ll need to contact Circles Life to cancel your service or transfer it to another provider.
Note: by cancelling your service with Circles.Life, you may lose your phone number. If you want to keep your phone number, it’s best to port it to another provider.

‘amaysim': You’ll get text messages directly from 'amaysim' to verify any high-risk changes made to your account to ensure you've requested them.
‘568’: You’ll get text messages from our '568' number in relation to updates on your mobile service. Examples include, but are not limited to, credit balance updates, plan renewal confirmations and data usage alerts.
‘61421263657', '0421 263 657' and '0421263657': You’ll get text messages from our '0421 263 657' number in relation to special marketing and promotional offers created with love just for our customers.
Any offers sent from this mobile number are genuine and safe to reply to if you'd like to participate in the offer. Examples include, but are not limited to, free upgrades, paid upgrades, discounts on your mobile plan, or third party prizes or offers when you renew next.
We’ll start moving customers across from late March and will continue to do so over the following months.
Every customer will receive an email and SMS ahead of the transfer happening with all the details.
Note: Your current Circles Life plan and inclusions won’t change during the switch over.
If you haven’t received any communication about this from Circles Life or amaysim, please check your email spam folders and your text messages.

Lucky you! You can continue to use that account but it will be separate to your Circles Life account. To access it your Circles Life account with amaysim, you will need to log in with your mobile service number. If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to perform a password reset.
To access your existing amaysim account, log in as you usually would.
If you want to merge the two accounts, you will need to contact us.
Nope! Your existing Circles Life SIM will continue to work after the switch over.
If you have any issues with your SIM after being transferred (i.e. if it breaks or is lost) you can easily order a replacement SIM via the amaysim app.
If you have multiple services with Circles Life, you should have received a communication for each of your services. If you haven’t, please contact Circles Life.
Generally speaking, any issue with your SIM before the transfer occurs isn’t related to the switch over. You may need to get a replacement SIM.
If you haven’t received confirmation that you supplier has changed to amaysim, please get in touch with us.

First up, you’ll need to reset your password to access your new amaysim account (we don’t do OTP log in). Further instructions will be sent to you on how to do this.
Once you’ve reset your password, you can log into the amaysim app using your phone number and newly reset password.
Yes. You'll need to download the amaysim app to access your plan details and manage your service from the date of your transfer.
No. We’ll create your new account for you once you’ve been moved to amaysim.
Your phone number will let you log in to the amaysim app to manage your account. You will have to choose a password.
We’ll be in touch with more info related to your new account as part of the switch over.
Simple. You can monitor your usage via the amaysim app or My amaysim (our website self-service platform). Your amaysim usage will not be available until after your first renewal.
No. All of these settings should be the same once you’ve been switched across.
However, things do happen so if need to update anything, check out our help section for info on how to change your settings:
Yes. Your voicemail and saved messages should stay the same.
We advise that you download any voicemail messages you want to keep, just in case.
Yes. Your PUK code will stay the same. After the transfer, you’ll be able to access it in the settings of your amaysim account, under ‘service settings’.
Yes! As an amaysim prepaid customer, you’re free to shop our range of iPhones and Androids, plus take advantage of our amaysim customer offers.
If you need to purchase a new SIM card:
In the amaysim app or My amaysim (our website self-service platform), select the arrow next to your phone number and select ‘Ready to purchase a new SIM card?’
If you’re using the app you’ll be presented with plan options. Select the plan you want and follow the instructions to purchase. This SIM will automatically be added to your account.
If you’re using My amaysim, you’ll be taken to our website to choose a plan. Select the plan you want and select ‘Buy now’. You can then follow the instructions to purchase a new SIM. Make sure to login whilst purchasing so that the SM is added to your account.
If you’ve already purchased a new SIM:
Select the arrow next to your phone number and select ‘Bought a new SIM card?’. Simply follow the instructions to activate your new SIM.
So that ‘John Smith’ and ‘John Smith’ aren’t accidentally combined together, we’ve created separate accounts per phone number. Security risk, technical nightmare, all that.
If you’d like your numbers combined into a single account, simply contact our friendly customer service at https://www.amaysim.com.au/contact. You’ll then be able to view all your phone numbers under one account.
Note: your billing days will remain seperate for each service.
Circles Life will not continue to have mobile customers in Australia once the transfer of customers to amaysim concludes.
You’ll need to pay your outstanding Circles Life balance in the way you usually do. If you have disputes with this bill, you need to contact Circles Life.
You’ll be in debt to Circles Life and may face debt recovery action. We strongly recommend you contact Circles Life to discuss this with them.
Your final Circles Life bill will include any outstanding balance owing to Circles Life. This amount (if any) will not carry over to amaysim so you’ll need to settle that invoice with Circles Life.
You'll need to contact Circles Life to balance any credit you may have remaining on your service.
Note: amaysim does not have access to this information.
You’ll need to contact Circles Life for any of your existing data or account information.
Yes and no. Your Circles Life account will remain active until your transfer is complete but after that, it will be deactivated.
Once you have been moved onto an amaysim plan, you'll need to download the amaysim app. It's super easy, just scan this QR code to get started:

To see your old Circles Life bills, you’ll need to contact Circles Life.
Generally, no. Most payment methods will work when you come over to amaysim. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
We do not accept JCB and Union Pay. If you pay via either of these, you will need to update your payment method ASAP.
If you don’t update your payment details with us before your first renewal date, you will see a payment failed message from us.

Since amaysim is a prepaid service, you’ll always pay up front, at the beginning of your renewal.

If you’re looking for your Circles Life bill, you’ll need to contact Circles Life.
Yes. You’ll receive a final Circles Life bill. Your billing will switch to amaysim within the first 28 days of coming to our service. We’ll notify you before charging you for your first recharge.
Yes. Since amaysim is a prepaid 28-day service, you’ll pay at the start of your billing cycle (unlike Circles Life) and be charged every 28 days.
We’ll tell you before your payment is taken, so it doesn’t come as a surprise. As long as you have auto-renew turned ‘on’ and a valid payment method setup, you won’t have to worry about missing any bills.
When you’re switched over to amaysim, your payment method will come with you (unless you’re a JCB or Union Pay card holder, in which case, please change your payment method as per the FAQ above). If your payment method isn't up to date, you should update it when your service is moved to amaysim during the grace period, to ensure you have a continuous mobile service.
Your current Circles Life plan, payment schedule and customer service contact details remain the same up until your moving date, when you'll transition onto your new amaysim plan.
While your old Circles Life plan may have been postpaid, your new amaysim plan will be prepaid – which means your last Circles Life bill and your first amaysim bill could arrive quite close together. This is because with amaysim, you pay your bill in advance, then use your plan.
Your March bill with Circles Life paid for your plan up to the end of March. Your first payment on your first renewal date with amaysim will occur in April, and will cover you for 28 days.
That first amaysim renewal date will be different for each customer. There may be a gap between your plan end date with Circles Life and your renewal date with amaysim. We won’t charge you for this period.
We’ll let you know ahead of time when your first renewal will be and once we renew your service, you’ll be charged every 28-day period to prepay for your mobile service.
When you move to amaysim, you won’t have any unused days.
Your March bill with Circles Life has paid for your plan up to the end of March, and your first paid renewal period with amaysim will occur in April. Therefore, you won’t have any unused days on your Circles Life bill.
Note: the first amaysim renewal date will be different for every customer.
There may be a gap between last day of your Circles Life plan in March and your amaysim renewal date. Between 1 April and your first amaysim payment date, your plan will be covered by us free of charge.
Note: amaysim is a 28-day prepaid service, so you’ll always be charged at the start of the 28-day period. You can find out more about amaysim prepaid here.
Yes. Your payment details have been transferred securely to amaysim. Your payment will be deducted automatically as long you leave auto-renew ‘on’ and your payment details with Circles Life were up-to-date.
We do not accept JCB or Union Pay, if you use either to pay for your Circles Life service, please update your payment method.

An amaysim renewal is when your plan is automatically renewed at the beginning of its cycle.
Your first renewal is the first period of service at amaysim. You can also renew your plan early.

Early renewal lets you renew your plan before your payment cycle ends, which is handy if you run out of data or want to change you plan mid-cycle.

Your payment details will automatically transfer to amaysim if stored by Circles Life.
You can pay for your service by credit/debit card (Mastercard, Visa and AMEX) and we also accept PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Unfortunately, we don’t accept JCB and Union Pay.
Unfortunately, no. We don’t accept JCB or Union Pay cards. The good news is that you can pay for your amaysim service with a credit/debit card (we accept Mastercard, Visa and AMEX), and PayPal. Since amaysim is a prepaid service provider, your billing date will change throughout the year and will no longer be on the same date each month.
If you had multiple services with Circles Life, they’ll have been transferred separately.
If you want to merge your services into one view, you can contact us to arrange this.
Unfortunately, if your services renew on different days, we won't be able to align them. You can, however, early renew them all on the same day. If your payment fails in future, or you turn ‘off’ auto-renew for a service, they will bill on different days again.
We are in the process of working through the best amaysim plan for every Circles Life customer. When we have these details confirmed, we will contact customers directly and we’ll be able to help with any questions or clarify any parts of the new plans that customers need help with.
Yes, you will be moved onto one of our amaysim plans. Your inclusions and price our plan may change as a result. You’ll receive further information on your new plan from 24 February.

We’re sorry to hear you don’t like your new plan. If you don’t want to transfer to this plan, you’ll need to port out or cancel your Circles Life service before the transfer date outlined in your email. Alternatively, you can wait until you’re transferred to amaysim but changing your plan then means you’ll lose any promotional benefits included with the plan we’ve offered you.
You should experience minimal to no interruptions to your service as a result of the plan transfer during the switch over.
No. Roaming destinations may vary, and to roam you will need to purchase a Roaming Pack which provides roaming in over 90 selected destinations You can find more information about our roaming destinations here. As always, let us know if you need any help.
No. International roaming is only available when you add a roaming pack to your amaysim plan. Starting from just $20 with 365 day expiry, all our packs can be used in over 90 popular travel destinations with options for voice, text and data inclusions.
Perhaps. There may be changes to your roaming coverage and quality depending on your travel destination/s. You can see our list of supported countries here, as well as all our packs which let you ditch daily roaming charges by rolling over unused inclusions for up to 365 days.
This is simply because Circles Life and amaysim are both on the Optus Network, so no SIM swap was required when transferring your service. You’ll continue to see this even though you're now with amaysim. If this bothers you, you can request a new SIM through the amaysim app or contact our customer service team who can arrange a SIM swap for you.
Depending on your plan, standard international talk & text to selected countries may be included.
Roaming is not included with amaysim plans however you can purchase one of amaysim’s 365-day roaming packs to access roaming in over 90 Selected Destination.
