Only Australian residents who are aged 18 or over, with an active amaysim SIM plan, and who have opted-in to the Promoter’s marketing database (and stay opted-in for the duration of the Competition Period, that is, up until 11.59pm (AEST) on 06/05/2025), are in the draw to win the Major Prizes.

For new customers purchasing any new unlimited amaysim mobile SIM plan, in order to enter this competition, you must during the Competition Period, first make a Qualifying Purchase, and then enter by one of the four methods (each, an Entry Method), as set out below:

1. Online Entry

To enter via Online Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including by providing your amaysim mobile number and providing all other requested information;

2. eDM Entry:

To enter via eDM Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, activate your entry by clicking through from the eDM to the landing page and clicking the ‘enter now’ button on the landing page sent by the Promoter;

3. SMS Entry:

To enter via SMS Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, reply to the campaign SMS sent by the Promoter with SURPRIZE as the keyword to register your entry;

4. amaysim app Entry:

To enter via amaysim app Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, while in the amaysim app, activate your entry by clicking the ‘enter now’ button on the landing page directed from the push notification or in app message,to receive one (1) entry into the major prize draw and one (1) minor prize entry.

After you have entered via an Entry Method in accordance with the instructions above, you can receive up to another two (2) minor prize entries by making a subsequent Qualifying Purchase activation and/or renewal(s) within the Competition Period.

Current customers with an existing Service, you can enter at any time during the Competition Period using one of the Entry Methods above (which can be before or after your Qualifying Purchase during the Competition Period). There are four (4) ways of entering this competition after making a Qualifying Purchase, as set out below. 

1. Online Entry

To enter via Online Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, visit www.amaysim.com.au/surprizes and fill out and submit the form, including by providing your amaysim mobile number and providing all other requested information.

2. eDM Entry

To enter via eDM Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, activate your entry by   clicking through from the eDM to the landing page and clicking the ‘Enter now’ button on the landing page sent by the Promoter.

3. SMS Entry

To enter via SMS Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, reply to the campaign SMS sent by the Promoter with SURPRIZE as the keyword to register your entry

4. amaysim app Entry

To enter via amaysim app Entry, you must, during the Competition Period, while in the amaysim app, activate your entry by clicking the ‘Enter now’ button on the landing page directed from the push notification or in-app message.

Unfortunately, As You Go customers are not eligible to enter the competition. To be able to enter, you can purchase and activate or renew any UNLIMITED amaysim mobile SIM plan. Excludes any amaysim NBN® plans, As You Go plans and roaming packs.

There are up to 1,662,347 minor prizes to be awarded during the Competition Period selected by a computerised random system at Trade Promotions and Lotteries Pty Ltd, Level 2, 11 York St Sydney NSW 2000.

There will be 1 major prize winner determined in respect of this competition.

Eligible Entrants who have submitted an entry during the Competition Period will automatically receive an entry into the major prize draw. The major prize draw will be held at 12pm (AEST) on 16/05/2025.

In the event of the prize being unclaimed, it will be included in the Unclaimed Prize Draw (details below).

You only need to enter the competition once. Once you've entered the competition, you can WIN a prize for each eligible SIM plan renewal between 6 February and 6 May 2025 (up to 3 times total), provided you remain opted in for marketing.

If you’re a winner, you’ll be notified immediately via email and SMS acknowledging your entry and informing you if you have won a prize, and if so, details on how to verify your entry and claim your prize. 

Winners of any Instant Win prizes valued over $250 will also have their first name, last initial and postcode published on this Website by 20/05/2025 for a period of 28 days.

The Major Prize draw winner will be notified by SMS and email within 5 days of the determination and will also have their first name, last initial and postcode published on this Website by 23/05/2025 for a period of 28 days.

Minor prize claim date: By 5pm (AEST) on 03/06/2025.

Any minor prizes that are valued at $200 or less that remain unclaimed by the minor  prize claim date above will be forfeited and the Promoter may dispose of such prizes as it sees fit.

Any  minor prizes valued over $200 [ that remain unclaimed by the minor prize claim date above will be included in the Unclaimed Prize Draw described below.

Major prize claim date: By 5pm (AEST) on 16/06/2025.

If the Major Prize has not been claimed by the Major Prize claim date above, the Promoter re-award the prize to a Reserve Entrant or include the major prize in the Unclaimed Prize Draw described below.  

Unclaimed prize draw: 12pm (AEST) on 15/07/2025 at Gadens Lawyers, L13 447 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000.

If a prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim dates above (being 5pm on 16/06/25 for the Major prize or the minor  prize claim date) or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by such prize claim dates, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will carry out an unclaimed prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize/s in descending order of value amongst valid entrants who (if possible) have not already won an unclaimed prize.

Only one prize per entry can be awarded in the Unclaimed Prize Draw (the first unclaimed prize drawn for that entry). For clarity, the Unclaimed Prize Draw will include all Eligible Entrants that have submitted an entry during the Competition Period.

Any such winner/s will be informed by email within 5 business days of determination and for winners any unclaimed prizes valued at $250 or over will also have their first name, last initial and postcode published on the Website on 18/07/2025 for a period of 28 days.

The winners of any unclaimed prize will have 21 days to claim their prize from the draw or determination date. Any prizes that remain unclaimed following that period will be forfeited and the Promoter may dispose of such prizes as it sees fit.

If any prize remains un-won at the end of this competition, or if a prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on the Website on 15/08/2025
