CHANGING YOUR MOBILE PLAN

You can change your amaysim mobile or data-only plan at any time. And there are three easy ways you can do this:

  • On the amaysim app – simply swipe up on the home screen and select ‘Manage your plan’, then follow the prompts to change your plan.
  • Via My amaysim – simply log in to My amaysim, select ‘Plan’, then ‘Manage your plan’, then follow the prompts to change your plan.
  • By SMS – simply text the shortcut for the new plan you want to 568.

You’ll need to have a linked payment method on your amaysim account to pay for your new plan.

It’s important to us that you’re always on the right amaysim plan for you, so you won’t be charged for switching plans.

If you’re upgrading to a mobile or data-only plan with more inclusions before your current plan is due to renew, we’ll automatically move you over and charge you the full amount for the new plan. However, if you’re downgrading to a plan with less inclusions, we won’t switch you over to your new plan until the end of your current plan’s expiry period. And we won’t charge you until your new plan kicks in.
 

If you switch plans, you’ll lose all the data stored in your data bank

While you won’t be charged for switching plans, unfortunately, you won’t be able to move your existing data bank balance over to your new plan.
 

You can also choose to renew your plan early

If you’re ever running low on data and want to restart your allowance, you can always renew your plan early. This can be done at any point during your current period.
 

Renewing your plan early via My amaysim

  • Log in to My amaysim and select the ‘Plan’ menu option.
  • Select ‘Manage your plan’.
  • Select ‘Renew your plan’.
  • Check your details are correct on the confirmation screen before proceeding.
  • Select ‘Confirm and pay’ at the bottom of the screen.
  • That’s it! The payment method on your account will be charged and your plan will be renewed.


Renewing your plan early on the amaysim app

  • Log in to the amaysim mobile app.
  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and select ‘Manage your plan’.
  • Scroll down and select ‘Renew your plan’.
  • Check your details are correct on the confirmation screen before proceeding.
  • You’re all done! The payment method on your account will be charged and your plan will be renewed.


Your new plan will begin immediately

As soon as payment has been successfully processed, your new plan will begin, and you’ll be able to enjoy access to all the features included within it.
