Enabling your Google Nest WiFi router to work with amaysim
If you’ve moved to amaysim home internet from a provider such as iiNet, Vodafone or Internode, you may having trouble accessing amaysim home internet. To resolve this, you can try factory resetting your router. Resetting your router to factory will reset your WiFi name and password.
To perform a factory reset:
- Locate the factory reset button on the bottom of the router.
- Press and hold the reset button for 12 seconds. The light will flash yellow, then turn solid yellow. When the light is solid yellow, release the button.
- The reset process can take up to 5 minutes. Do not unplug the power cable during this process.
- When the factory reset is complete, the light on your router will flash white, then blue to indicate that the device is ready for setup.
- Your device will still appear in the Google Home app. You will need to remove and re-add your device.
