Enabling your HG659 modem/router to work with amaysim

1. In your internet browser, type http://192.168.1.1 into the browsers address bar and pressenter
2. Login with these details:
   • Username: root
   • Password: uh!7+a3ng
   • These details will be different to the admin settings on your modem/router
3. Navigate to ‘Device management' and then ‘Back up or restore settings’
4. Create a back up of your settings
5. Navigate to ‘Internet' and delete all items
6. Select 'New WAN connection' and input the following details:
   • Name: amaysim
   • Check service type: Internet
   • Access type: PTM Uplink
   • Connection type: IP routing (IP)
   • MRU 1500
   • MSS: 0
   • NAT type: NAPT
   • Enable VLAN: uncheck
   • IP protocol version: IPv4 and IPv6
   • Uncheck static DNS.
   • DHCP
7. Restart modem/router, if necessary

Remove remote access to modem/router

These steps disable your previous telco from being able to access your modem/router

1. Navigate to ‘Maintain’ and then ‘Remote Management’

2. Uncheck ‘Enable remote management’ and select Save
