Enabling your iiNet TG-1 modem to work with amaysim
You may need to change your iiNet TG-1 to use a dynamic IP. Depending on your technology type, you will need to follow different instructions.
For FTTP/HFC/FTTC technology types
- In your internet browser, type http://10.1.1.1 into the browsers address bar and press enter
- Login with these details:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
- Select 'Setup Wizard' and the following details:
- WAN Interfaces: Ethernet WAN
- WAN Type: Dynamic IP address
- If you have a VoIP device, enter your VoIP details
- If you do not have a VoIP device, select ‘I don’t have VoIP'
- Select Next and navigate through the screens to complete your setup - you will not need to change any further settings
- Restart your modem, if necessary
For FTTN/FTTB technology types
- In your internet browser, type http://10.1.1.1 into the browsers address bar and press enter
- Log in with these details:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
- Select 'Setup Wizard' and the following details:
- WAN Interfaces: VDSL
- WAN Type: Dynamic IP address
- If you have a VoIP device, enter your VoIP details
- If you do not have a VoIP device, select ‘I don’t have VoIP'
- Select Next and navigate through the screens to complete your setup - you will not need to change any further settings
- Restart your modem, if necessary
