Enabling your Netgear D6220 modem/router to work with amaysim

If you brought your Netgear D6220 modem/router to a telco, such as TPG, Dodo or Exetel, before bringing it to amaysim, you may need to change your modems settings so it can work with amaysim.

  1. In your internet browser, type http://www.routerlogin.net into the browsers address bar and press enter
  2. Login with these details:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: password
  3. Select ADVANCED and then 'Setup Wizard'
  4. Select country as ‘Australia’ and Internet Service Provider as ‘Other’
  5. Select ‘Yes’ for Netgear GENIE to help

  2. If available, select country as ‘Australia’ and Internet Service Provider as ‘Other’
  3. Set Transfer Mode as ‘PTM’. DSL Mode should be ‘VDSL2’
  4. In the dropdrown above ‘Enable This Interface’, select ‘Internet’
  5. Leave the ‘Enable This Interface’ checkbox as unchecked
  6. Scroll down to ‘Does your internet connection require a login?’ and select ‘No’
  7. Under ‘Internet IP Address’, select ‘Get dynamically from ISP’
