Enabling your Technicolor TG-789 modem to work with amaysim

To use a Technicolor TG-789 Broadband Gateway with amaysim, you will need to ensure it isn’t locked to your previous provider. If you are coming from a provider such as iiNet or Internode, follow these steps to set up your router to work with amaysim

1. In your internet browser, type http://10.1.1.1 into the browsers address bar and press enter
2. Login with these details:
   • Username: admin
   • Password: (leave blank)
   • If this does not work, your login details can be found on a sticker on the bottom of your router
3. Select Setup Wizard
4. Select ‘Other' in the Internet service provider list
5. For WAN Interfaces / Type of internet, select:
   • FTTP/FTTC/HTC: Ethernet
   • FTTP/FTTN: VDSL
6. For WAN Type select ‘Dynamic IP address’
7. Continue until the setup wizard is complete
8. Restart router, if necessary
